In fact this group continued to register lower levels even after 20 days of maybe not using the cinnamon! The placebo group had no real changes. That is great news for diabetics and individuals with heart problems.

In research done with rats, one party was handed a high fructose diet with cinnamon and the other a diminished amount of sugars. The end result was both groups did the same. Though the mice ate high-fructose, cinnamon causes the body to reduce glucose levels and control insulin levels and making it possible to decrease the belly fat.
